Responsible Play
These are games, not gambling
The games on wpcdp.com are free-to-play, demo-style social games intended for entertainment only. They do not offer real-money gambling and provide no casino services. Virtual coins are part of the games, have no cash value, and cannot be withdrawn, exchanged, transferred, or redeemed for money or prizes of real-world value. Nothing you do in these games can win or lose you money.
Practice or success at social casino gaming does not imply future success at real-money gambling. Real-money gambling works differently, involves financial risk, and is regulated separately in each province.
You must be 19 or over, or 18 or over in Quebec
This site is for adults who have reached the legal gambling age in their province: 19 in most of Canada, 18 in Alberta, Manitoba, and Quebec. We confirm age at sign-up and may ask for proof at any time. The same requirement applies before you follow the link to the mobile application. If you share a device with someone under that age, sign out after playing and consider the parental controls built into your device or browser, or filtering tools such as Net Nanny or Qustodio.
Playing in a healthy way
- Treat these games as entertainment, in the same way you would a film or a video game.
- Decide in advance how long you want to play and stop when you reach it.
- Take a break at least every hour.
- Play when you are rested, not when you are stressed, upset, or bored.
- Keep other activities in your week that have nothing to do with games.
Signs it may be becoming a problem
Free games carry no financial risk, but play can still become excessive. Consider whether any of these apply to you:
- you play for longer than you intended, most times you play;
- you think about the games when you are doing other things;
- you play instead of sleeping, working, studying, or spending time with people close to you;
- you feel irritable or restless when you cannot play;
- you hide how much you play, or people close to you have raised it with you;
- playing these games has made you curious about betting real money.
If several of these feel familiar, the support services below can help, and they help with gaming as well as gambling.
